詞彙研究所－摩托車vs.機車vs.火車頭
跟大陸人說「高雄滿街都是機車」，他們聽了可能會吃驚地瞪大眼睛：「什麼？！火車頭行駛在大街上？」
大陸人可能無法理解，機車就是摩托車，因為「機車」通常指的是火車最前方帶有動力的那一節，並且只有專業人士才使用「機車」一詞，一般人都稱之為「火車頭」。
至於台灣人用「機車」來形容一個人問題多、囉唆、不上道，大陸人就更是難以理解
